Peltophorum dubium (Spreng.) Taub. It has an outstanding interest in the economy, both by logging as the suitability for revegetation work. The species distribution modeling used in studies concerning the loss of information diversity and occurrence of species. This study aimed to compare data MODIS / EVI Terra and Aqua satellites in 2015, to know the influence of data on the geographical distribution of P. dubium in Brazil. We randomly selected 200 occurrence records for the construction of models and 50 for testing. For species distribution modeling was used the Environmental Distance algorithm (ED) and used a set of environmental variables of climate (Worldclim). The MOD13Q1 and MYD13Q1 products, satellites TERRA and AQUA, respectively, can generate, EVI (Enhanced Vegetation Index). These data grouped and automatically trimmed the different images that make up the federative units of Brazil. Images being used for 2015 years images in 250m resolution in seven different dates considering four dates in the wet season, between January and February, and tree in dry season, between June and July, the 26 federative units of Brazil, totaling one hundred and eighty two images. The models generated by the data only Worldclim showed larger areas of environmental suitability of the models with Worldclim data plus data from Terra satellite, and Aqua, and the models generated with Aqua satellite data showed the lowest areas of environmental suitability.
